Handyman-part-time, as needed, and includes doing maintenance and minor repairs at seven historic churches in northern New Mexico, including Abiquiu, Medanales, Canones, Youngsville, Coyote, Mesa de Poleo and Gallina.

 

Major duties and responsibilities: Responding to the Archdiocese of Santa Fe's safety and fire inspection findings that may include mounting fire extinguishers, ensuring all cleaning supplies and chemicals are place in secured cabinets, etc., minor roof repairs, gutter cleaning, plaster or stucco patching laying cement, paying interior/exterior walls, repairing minor leaks in commodes and sinks, inspect lighting, fuses, breakers, boilers (HVAC() and other duties as assigned. 

 

Must complete VIRTUS training and participate in online trainings as necessary, have a valid driver's license and vehicle in order to travel to the mission churches as needed.

 

Physical requirements;  Walking, bending, climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 pounds, as necessary, and helping move furniture.
